Care of your swimsuit

However, the harsh chemicals in some pools and spas will breakdown the elasticity of swimsuits. For people who swim regularly in these facilities Sax Sea strongly recommends the use of Chlorine-Resistant swimwear.

Whilst sunscreen lotions and oils are necessary to protect skin they also damage swimwear fabric. Sax Sea recommends that all swimwear is rinsed in clean water to remove any residual lotion or oil. Swim wear can also be washed using a mild detergent, followed by a rinse in clean water, then allow it to dry in the shade.

SaxSea recommend that swimwear never be rolled up in a towel when it is wet and when you are wearing your suit you take care to avoid snagging it on any rough surfaces.
